Jane Austen

Selain Anna Frank, ada satu orang lagi yang bener2 gw kagumi karena tulisannya dan juga kisah hidupnya...orang itu adalah Jane Austen..
I have read all of her novel...and I just love them..
Jane Austen lahir di Inggris , 16 Desember 1775..Dia lahir dari keluarga konservatif dengan keadaan ekonomi yang biasa2 saja..Austen mendapatkan pendidikan mengenai hidup dan moral dari keluarganya terutama sang Ayah dan setelah itu dia dikirim untuk mengikuti boarding school...

She is an amazing woman with a full of imagination...But thing most fascinating thing about her life is her love life...When we're reading her novel, we may thought that Austen had a remarkable love life with happy ending..but unfortunately, it is just our imagination....

Austen never married..She was once is love with a man, named Tom Lefroy...Lefroy was a very successful lawyer but very depending with his rich uncle...His uncle rejected Tom's will to get married with Austen...Tom may lost all the heritage that has provided for him , if he still continue his plan to marry Austen....

But Tom insisted to marry Austen, at first Austen agreed to his proposal, but when she knew that Tom may lost his heritage and causes a big economic trouble to Tom's nuclear family..Austen decided to reject the proposal...She left Tom for his own good...She did not want Tom's family to be suffered...

What a woman...She's willing to sacrifice for other people..It has shown courage !!
With all the imagination and the story of hers, Austen continues to write her own novel...All of her novel are famous... There are Pride and Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility, Emma, Mansfield Park, Persuasion, Northanger Abbey...


My favorite is Mansfield Park...I love Fanny Price...I know that people might find she's boring and she is not famous, confident or bubbly such as Elizabeth Bennet or Emma but Fanny is very faithful...She is very generous with herself..and believe or not she stand for what she believes in her own way...She has the quite power !!

Austen found love in writing to replace her affection for a man than she loves the most..and her novels bring a positive influence for all the women in the world in every decades...


3 months a go, I watched a movie called Jane Austen Book Club, the story is about a group that affected by Austen novels..The movie is really good.. If it's in Indonesia , I can also join that book club..

I'm in love with Austen novels..because it's connected with all women...All of her novels describe all the fears, insecurity, traits about women with sincerely...I can't wait to see another movie, writing that related to Austen.. !!!
